Why we refer Contractors to Building and Homeowners?
Everybody wins, Building owners, Homeowners, Contractors and IB Roof Systems! Re-roofing a building or a home is not an everyday experience. In fact, it usually occurs only once every 10-15 years. We want to help educate you with free advice. In return, the business is often placed with us, through the contractor. The concept is not new. Customer service like this is what IB Roof Systems is all about.

How do we select the Contractors we refer?
The Contractors we refer are contractors we trust. They are our best customers and our friends. There are certain criteria we use to determine that a contractor can be placed on our customer referral program. We require them to:

• Have an open, active and current account with IB Roof Systems
• Have a positive working relationship with IB Roof Systems.
• Be Licensed and Bonded with no claims against their Bond.
• Have a good reputation in the roofing community, and not have had repeated complaints  from building owners.
• Be responsive with immediate follow-up on any IB Roof Systems Referrals.
• Show IB Roof Systems products on Referred Sales Contacts wherever possible.
• Notify IB Roof Systems immediately, whenever you’re too busy to follow up on an IB Roof Systems Referral.

Do Contractors pay for our referrals?
No. We just require that the customer receives excellent service. If the contractor is hired we also require them to give the owner a quality installation and use IB Roof Systems products wherever possible.

How should you select a Contractor?
First of all, try to get a reliable referral from other owners that have had their roof done. Next, ask the contractor for references of other past work. The Contractor should also provide proof of State License, Bonding, and Insurance coverage. Finally, Make your selection based upon written job estimates, and of course, your personal assessment of their professional appeal and the answers to ALL your questions.

What should you do if want an additional Contractor referral?
You should try to get at least two estimates from qualified contractors. If you get more than three then the Contractors feel less motivated and that their time may be wasted. We try to fit the best contractor to you based on the information you provide us. If you feel a contractor is not a good fit for your project, please contact us and we will be happy to refer another contractor.
